Terms of service
These terms cover website design and build work commissioned from Blusites. They apply from the point you accept a quote.

Quotes and scope
Every project is quoted in full before any work starts. The quote sets out what is included, what it costs and roughly how long it will take.
Prices shown on the pricing page are indicative ranges. The figure in your written quote is the one that applies.
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it is started. Nothing gets added to your invoice without you agreeing to it first.
Payment
The build is paid once. Unless your quote says otherwise, half is due before work begins and the balance on completion, before the site goes live.
Hosting and maintenance is billed monthly in advance at the rate in your quote. It is not a minimum term and there is no contract period.
Blusites is not registered for VAT, so no tax is added to any amount quoted.
Revisions before launch
Until the site is signed off, revisions are unlimited. We keep working on it until you are happy, and we do not bill by the round or count them.
Unlimited means unlimited refinement of what was quoted — layout, wording, colour, images, the arrangement of what is already there. It does not mean unlimited scope. Adding pages or functionality that were not in the quote is new work, and is quoted before it starts.
What the monthly covers, once it is live
Hosting, backups, security and software updates, and small content changes — swapping photos, updating prices, changing opening hours.
The unlimited revisions above apply to the build. Once the site is signed off and live, the monthly takes over, and it covers small changes rather than continued design work.
New pages, redesigns and new functionality are quoted as separate work.
If you stop the monthly, the site remains yours. We will hand over the files and help you move it to a host of your choosing.
Who owns what
On final payment, you own the finished website: the design, the page content and the custom code written for you.
You keep ownership of everything you supply — your logo, photographs, text and trade marks. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us.
We keep ownership of any general-purpose tooling, libraries and techniques we reuse across projects, and we retain the right to show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Third-party components — fonts, libraries, stock images — remain under their own licences, which we will tell you about.
Your part
We need content, images and feedback to keep moving. If a project goes quiet for more than sixty days we may invoice for work completed to that point and close it, and restarting is quoted afresh.
Cancelling
You can cancel a build before it is finished. You pay for work completed up to that point; anything already paid beyond that is refunded.
You can stop the monthly at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months.
We may stop work or decline a project. If we do, you get back anything paid for work not delivered.
Warranty and liability
We will fix bugs in work we delivered, free, for thirty days after launch. That does not extend to problems caused by changes made by someone else, or by third-party services going down.
The web changes; browsers and platforms update. We do not warrant that a site will function unchanged indefinitely.
Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights if you are dealing with us as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Cyprus courts have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring proceedings there.
